The semicolon has become the symbol of solidarity and support with the issues of suicide, depression, addiction and mental health. It is amazing how two little marks can say so much, that just as the semi-colon dictates, there is a pause, and then forward movement. This necklace says that too. It is a testament to both struggle and hope. I make it out of Sterling silver. It measures 1.25” tall by .5” wide and dangles from an 18” Sterling chain.

Pileated woodpeckers are a favorite bird. It is always a thrill to experience the flash of black, white and red, with the soundtrack of their loud calls and hammering. These earrings pay tribute to this special bird. They are hand crafted out of jeweler's brass and Sterling silver, and carefully hand colored. This Small Sensitive Fern Necklace, (Onoclea sensibilis), is inspired by the real thing. Sensitive ferns are found in forests in Eastern North America, and are called this because the are sensitive to frost. These necklace is a tribute to the beauty of the ferns, and to the forests where they are found. It is handcrafted out of Sterling and jeweler’s brass, and has a soft matte finish. It is lacquered to as to require minimal care. The fern measures 7/8” wide x 1” tall, and the Sterling chain is 18", which makes the necklace 19" with the fern.
