The sign and sound of a loon is always special and this necklace is a reminder of that. It features a swimming loon and is a tribute to a majestic bird that has made a remarkable comeback. It is is handcrafted out of Sterling silver and jeweler's brass, and is suspended from an oxidized Sterling chain. It measures 18" which includes the 2" focal piece.

Okay, so nautilus shells may not be bioluminescent, but they are beautiful, and bioluminescence is cool, so why not combine the two? These nautilus shell earrings do indeed glow in the dark, an ability that certain sea life forms possess. They are also somewhat translucent, so seemingly glow just a bit during daylight hours, also. I make them out of Sterling silver and carefully handpaint them, sealing them with protective resin. They measure a little more than 1" high, by 3/4" wide, not including the Sterling earring wires. They are light to wear and seemingly float like a nautilus.
