There are many things to get excited about in life. Just ask whirligig beetles! I love how they cluster and play bumper-cars-without-the-bumps on pond and stream surfaces. These stud (aka "post" earrings in my youth, one day I'll get used to the new word..) earrings are made out of Sterling. I carefully etch the subtle patterns that those little silvery flashy beetles sport. They are a tribute to the little whirling dervishes that spin circles in the sun, going nowhere fast and seemingly enjoying every second.
