When exposed to a bright light briefly, the stars glow in the dark! I make it out of lacquered jeweler's brass, and it is suspended from an 18" Sterling chain. It measures 5/8" wide by 3/4" tall. It is the perfect necklace for someone who would rather be in the woods! (Like me!)
