Rosarita is slag from another mother, or rather metal. It is gold slag from Alaska, and comes in lovely shades of red, orange and yellow. I was given a couple nice pieces of it which I cut and polished into wearable sizes and shapes. The specimen in this necklace is gorgeous and has subtle striations of red. I set it in Sterling with a fern motif, and she's ready for wearing! Her total length is 18".
