This Small Sensitive Fern Necklace, (Onoclea sensibilis), is inspired by the real thing. Sensitive ferns are found in forests in Eastern North America, and are called this because the are sensitive to frost. These necklace is a tribute to the beauty of the ferns, and to the forests where they are found. It is handcrafted out of Sterling and jeweler’s brass, and has a soft matte finish. It is lacquered to as to require minimal care. The fern measures 7/8” wide x 1” tall, and the Sterling chain is 18", which makes the necklace 19" with the fern.
