Dragonflies are awesome! They are thought to have evolved over 300 million years ago (!) and there are currently more than 5000 species on our planet. They can fly at 30 mph, and hover, lift up and down and even fly backwards! And talk about pest control...they can eat hundreds of mosquitoes in a day. And did I mention that some of them migrate? These earrings are a tribute to an incredible insect. They each feature a dragonfly resting on a flower. But wait! It gets better! They can actually spin on the flower, exhibiting their aerial agility. They are made from Sterling silver and measure 7/8" x 1 3/4". They are light and fun to wear.
